Zhongzhong Noodles

I'm glad that I discovered this noddle place! Came here few times and I have tried their Pickled cabbage sliced beef noodle ( also tried the fish filet) which both is my favorite, Zha Jiang Noodle and Braised Beef Noodle. All choices are amazing. All taste very similar to bowl of noodles you would have in local restaurants in ChongQing, China. I have been to a lot of noodle places, here definitely is a mush try place if you are craving a hot, sour and spicy noodle! The place is small and clean with few counter seats. Staffs are super nice and they prepared orders quite fast.

I wish this place wasn’t on Roosevelt island so I could order from here all the time!! So unfortunate that they only do pick up and not delivery.

Not sure if it’s because of COVID, but the signage is lacking and the what’s there is kind of confusing. Seems they may have rebranded from Liukoushui to Chongqing Hot Pot Noodles...?

BUT, the soup broths are solid and I would definitely recommend! ?????????? You can wait outside after you order and they’ll bring it to you outside. Soup and ingredients separately packaged so it’ll travel well if you’re looking to eat by the water or at home!

Tight menu with good flavors, plenty spicy,served in a clean, bright simple atmosphere. Was great for a quick bite while on the island.

The hotpot was amazing! The broth was really good and it had lots of flavor. There isn't many choices for people who don't like spicy food though and the noodles aren't the best either. Nevertheless, the place is great and the coconut milk is great to calm down spicy foods.

This place was incredible! New favorite place on the island. Food was ready very quickly, both times I went. First time I ordered the Mixed Mushroom Hotpot, which was pretty good. The second time I ordered the Beef Tripe Hot Pot Noodle, which was amazing!

I almost gave this place 4 out of five, however. The website gave no warning of how spicy the Beef Tripe Hot Pot Noodle was! I love spice, and I still ate the whole thing. But that was definitely one of the more harrowing journeys of this summer thus far... would have appreciated the heads up!
