Best onion rings I've had in years. All food is fresh. Good portions for the kids meals. Very friendly and inviting atmosphere. Family friendly.

Awesome place. Lots of History, and very unique. Was on man versus food and has two food challenges one in the restaurant and one of the ice cream stand. Great atmosphere, good service and friendly staff. I highly recommend trying this place you will not be disappointed. I always stop here when I pass through the area I just wish it was open longer into the fall.

Great story and atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit. The service was fine and the food was good. The outdoor seating was nice. I loved the patina in the bathroom. Prices were kind of on the high side. The fish sandwich, hotdog, smelt, burger and onion rings were all good. Sandwiches would have been better if the buns were warmed and not so cold.

Love this place go here every end of summer food is to die for especially the foot long haystack. Prices are fair for the portions you get and the staff is always pleasant. Make sure you get an ice cream after your meal tons of flavors to choose from and go for a walk the scenery is nice.

The Silo has great food and a stunning view of the Niagara River. It is a self serve cafeteria type of restaurant with a large selection of food. We ate under the roof and enjoyed the nice breeze off the water. The Haystack (steak and cheese on a bun with crispy potatoes on top) was very tender and delicious but in hindsight should have ordered the foot long. Onion rings were very crispy and yummy. Chicken Souvlaki salad was delicious. We didn't have room to try all the ice cream flavors for desert.
