The Western Door: A Seneca Steakhouse

A couple of friends treated me to dinner a few weeks ago. We went to the Western Door, located in the NF, NY Seneca Niagara Casino. I had the Steak Oscar. It was so tender with a most satisfying flavor. The atmosphere was very relaxing.

Loved it! Food was amazing. Staff was just as amazing. Filet mignon melted in my mouth like butter. DUHLICOUS!

I have been to the Western Door 4 times now in the last 2 years. I have never been disappointed. The food is amazing, the staff are all great and very accommodating. We realized after our first visit that the portions are way more than one person can handle so we now share meals. I was there this past weekend with 4 other ladies. We ordered 1 prime rib, 1 salmon and a few sides. We asked that they bring us 5 plates and serve the food as a family style and they did just that. We still had leftovers and our bill was less than $150.00 including drinks.

I highly recommend the Western Door and I will return again when I visit the Seneca Casino.

Steak was amazing, cooked to perfect. Our waiter was very nice. Beautiful restuarant. However the butter we received for our crab was like the butter you get from the movie theater. Tasted like oil and chemicals. For the price you pay at this restaurant I would think they would at least serve real butter. I would not order hot seafood again as this was a real turn off for me. I absolutely hate it when expensive restaurants cut corners and try to cheap out on quality. Seems like a small issue but it really makes a difference when you are saved real butter with your crab. Such a disappointment.
