I love the Greek food here and this was my first time when I found the meal less than satisfactory. I had a lunch special (burger). It was over cooked and looked like a preformed burger. The tomatoes served with it were very good & the Greek potatoes were nice and lemony the way I like them. My server did offer to have another burger prepared which was very considerate. The rice pudding was excellent as usual and the service was prompt.
Just WOW! The food & service is AMAZING!! The portions are HUGE. One plate can easily feed two. Only complaint is I feel like the salad it maybe over proportioned on the plate.
For appetizer, the hummus is an absolute must.
My review would be a 5-star, because I love it there. Great service, great food! However, they need to use Redi Whip real whipped cream. I had Crepes, and had to scrape off the Cool Whip. The real stuff would be delicious!
I got the chef's omelet and my bf got the french toast. I asked for no peppers and onions. The waitress was nice and fast. The food came out fast even with it being a little busy. The portions were big and everything tasted delicious. I would definitely eat here again if I was back in the area.
The only place comparable is the Olive Branch in West Seneca. For people north of the city, you will not find better Greek dishes. The prices are good, the servings are HUGE, which is typical of quality Greek restaurants. If you're not walking out with another meal in a take out box, you're not at a quality Greek restaurant....bottom line!
There is tons of seating and the overall design is quite attractive. Very clean and well maintained.
My only suggestion would be to do something with the dressing. It's basically just oil and vinegar. You need something that give it a signature taste. That is one thing that Olive Branch does better. Their table dressing is very good.
