Wonderful place. Delicious food. Friendly staff. I'd highly recommend.

Staff was very nice and accomodating. I was here for my staff Xmas party. I ordered the cod. It was LOADED with garlic and scallions which was fine except for them being undercooked..

Pleasantly surprised. We were looking to try something different and found this place on our google search. Great atmosphere and the staff was really friendly. The food was fantastic. We will be back again.

Thank you to Don and Pam and their exceptional staff for making our daughter and son in law’s wedding perfect. The food was great, the restaurant was charming, and the staff were wonderful! Our daughters wedding was caught in the Covid mess, and they helped us to replan it and have a priceless family gathering that couldn’t have been any better! Highly recommend this and any of the other Wurlitzer Event locations!

My husband and I have eaten many meals at the restaurants at Shawnee Golf Course over the years. When the course went up for sale a few years back, we thought it was the end of the good times we had, golfing and eating at Shawnee. New ownership at the golf course appears to have brought the course back, and recently we were excited to see that the restaurant would be reopening under new management as well.

Lodge on the Green has only been open a short time, as of this review, but we have eaten there twice. Our first time was a light dinner. He loved his very thin crust, wood fired pizza, and I enjoyed the arugula salad with shrimp (huge!) and bacon, and a delicious lemon dressing. The management made it a point to talk with us, and the waitress was also pleasant and helpful. My only negative would be that the food took a while to come out, considering that there were just a couple of tables occupied at that time.

On our next visit, I ordered one of the specials.....Chicken Piccata. One of my favorites! It was covered in capers (already a winner in my book!) and was delicious! It came with slightly cool mashed potatoes (real) and a nice mixed veggie, which was really tasty with the Piccata sauce on the plate. And before I forget, the desserts are fantastic too! We highly recommend the Sweet Apple Bunuelo!! I think this place has potential to bring back the good memories at Shawnee!
