Red Samurai Steak House

We've been to Red Samurai twice now, once in the restaurant and last night for hibachi dinner for my daughter's birthday. The food is excellent and the staff, friendly and fun. Eating at a hibachi was a new experience for some of us and we had such a great time. The only disappointing parts were they were out of scallops, and out of mochi ice cream. That did not deter us though, we all chose different items and my son tried tiramisu instead. We will definitely be going back.

Awesome! My class went there for a field trip in the hibachi area. The food was great and the waiter was even better! We went live on Facebook in the room and sprayed the class with lemonade. Great service any other time. Highly recommend you stop bye

This place is awesome. You get to choose if you want a kitchen style dinner or hibachi. One employee struck us the most during our first visit. His name is Isaac. He's really jolly and fun to be with. He's really entertaining and that's the type of service that you would want to experience. This place is highly recommended if you are in Utica, NY!

The food was absolutely fantastic! However I was sat with a different family, they were horribly picky about everything. The one child wouldn't eat actual hibachi so she had chicken nuggets and fries instead, the mother was a vegetarian so she complained about meat touching her vegetables in any shape or form. They should find these things out before seating people together, they were obnoxious people.

This is a long-overdue review. I have been to this place since I came here about 2 years ago and have always had wonderful experiences. The place isn't too hard to find since it's in its own little plaza with plenty of parking. It is situated right next to Denny's on Seneca Turnpike.

The chef that I met initially is now the manager and they have always given us amazing customer service. You can either choose to go to the hibachi, which is to the left, or the regular table, which is to the right. Both are great. If you like noise and burning flames for show when they cook, and a wonderful entertainer that comes and chat with you, hibachi is the way to go. If you like to talk with others and chill, then the regular tables would be your pick. They even offer birthday specials for their customers! For hibachi, the filet, salmon, and scallop are a must-try order; for regular table, the dynamite roll and raw salmon are always great. Unfortunately they do not have uni.

The service is also superb. Attentive waiter/waitresses coupled with speedy service.

Will always return here for Japanese food. Keep up the good work Red Samurai!
