Big Jay's Pizzeria, Rome

I loved the regular pie. The speciality slices I have not really enjoyed. Their regular pizza slice has a nice texture and smooth sauce. I really enjoyed it. However, I am not a fan of the meals. I received my Eggplant Parmigiana and it was unevenly heated, which indicates to me that they utilize a microwave to heat it up. And, you should peel the eggplant completely to make it a better experience.

Otherwise, for a Central New York slice of pizza, it is great. For the other food, I am not so sure.

Easily in my top 3 chicken riggies I've ever had. I love that there's no mushrooms or olives. The spice level at medium is perfect!! I'll get them every time I come to Rome!! (Knots are also amazing)

Been going to marcy location for years. Best pizzeria food around. Stopped into new rome location. Chicken bacon ranch slice was good and hot. Great work friendly staff. Check em out they don't dissappint!!!

Discovered that Big Jay opened another location in Rome. Guest service and and food were excellent like their Marcy location. Never had a wait for my food on the busiest days like Wednesday for the Riggies and Alfredo Specials. Dinners are great in a pinch and is done to perfection. Slices with the variety of toppings and flavors not at all like anything in this area. Jay is just importing perfection at every location he opens. It will always be my go to for nights I do not cook for the family myself. I highly recommend it. Thanks Jay

Finally I was able to get through to place an after the opening week. Excellent pizza and wings! The owner is behind the counter working just as hard as his employees. Much respect! Been a fan ever since he opened up the Marcy location. A well deserved 5 stars!
