Food is cooked to order. Well worth the wait! Homemade pies are just like what my Grandma would make ! Waitresses are above and beyond friendly(knowing almost each and everyone walking through the door). Eddie's Paramount Diner.....is truly a gem!

Old fashioned restaurant. The old fashioned look and by golly the best food in town. I haven't seen a place like this ever. The old fashioned look interior brings you back and makes you feel like you're in the 60's. This place was awesome. Staff were great. The food hot and fresh and made right in front of you. This is a must go to if you ever come to Rome, NY. Prices are awesome too. CHECK IT OUT!!

Eddies Diner is a great local place to eat that serves all different types of comfort-food. Although it isn't much to look at, the staff is friendly and the food is always delicious. The diner has been around for many years, and when Eddie's father passed away, Eddie still continued to work and keep it alive. The fish fries are amazing, and they always have daily and weekly specials. The pies are freshly made and the servings are huge. Prices are very reasonable as well. Only gripe about the diner that I have is they never give you a receipt, they always ring you up by memory, if they're really busy, at the register. A few times I believe I was overcharged by the "memory method", but I didn't say anything. Other than that great place to eat.
