LaRoma Pizzeria & Restaurant of Rome, NY

Great slice of pepperoni pizza but it needs to be cooked more in the middle of the pizza so the wonderful slice was not so runny & messy.

Quick service. Food came out really quick. French fries were nice and crispy and the chicken and greens sandwich was really good.

Bought two slices from here for the first time over a week ago,and was completely blown away! I finally found my new NYC style pizza spot. Then I ordered a large cheese,and was left disappointed. It was like two different pizzas. I figured maybe that was a bad pie,so I stopped in a cpl times after that to try slices again. Each one was not as good as the initial ones. There was barely any cheese and it just didn’t match those initial slices I bought.

Not sure what’s going on,maybe they’re rushing pies out because business is very busy? Not sure but I would love if I could get some of those initial slices I got but on a regular basis. That was deserving of 5 stars,but what followed wasn’t.

New in area and this is high quality food. The Haddock Marina was delicious as were the chicken tenders. I'm from NYC and this restaurant rivals anyplace there. Rome is lucky to have this awesome eatery. My go to place from this day on.

Stopped by for a quick bite with my wife. Service was excellent...pizza was better! They will customize your toppings to order by the slice. Large sit down dining room was plain but Clean. Whole pies would definitely be better prices but reasonable considering huge slices of pizza. Many other menu options took a take out menu to look at and we are looking forward to trying everything!
