Absolutely fantastic! Great oyster bar atmosphere. Our server was prompt and gracious. The littleneck streamers were perfectly cooked, plump and not rubbery, flavor was great. Crab cake was amazing, my aunt who was seated next to me and grew up on the Chesapeake Bay agreed. The crab was the star. Greens on the side a little more wilted than I thought they could have been, but maybe that was on purpose? My entree was the daily catch, Striped Sea Bass. Delicious!
From the service to the food, everything was spectacular! Atmosphere and decor are classy yet casual. Our appetizer (short rib nacos) was huge and the flavors combined nicely. Seafood dishes tasted fresh and were well prepared. We had a great time.
Ocean Blue is so beautiful and the food is excellent !!!! However I just experienced the worst service I ever had in the 50 years I been on earth . Yet in the parking lot the hostess that seated us left waving and smiling to us. Ocean Blue get it together.
We had a male server who bought us drinks because of his lack of service. I wanted desert and asked the woman who took our plates to give us a dessert menu. Our server never came back so I asked another server for our bill. Strangest night ever.
This restaurant is a shining light in the darkness. When I was invited there, I had low expectations ... seafood inland, Upstate New York? The food and drinks were all perfect. I enjoyed every bite and sip! One comment for y'all southern-based oyster lovers, they had Crystal Hot Sauce, Horseradish mixed in Ketchup, and no crackers. The sauces were good, but I really like just raw horseradish, crackers, and hot sauce like any good Louisiana Southerner would ... still yummy though.
