One of the most unique and cool independent theaters I've been to. The concept is incredible, you're able to order whole meals and eat them while watching your movie. The literal embodiment of "Dinner Theater" The only issue I, as a movie patron, had is that there is no clear concession booth that sells the more "basic" movie snacks, like popcorn, candy and the like. There was a bar where you were supposed to order the lunch/dinner items, and I assume this is where you order popcorn too, but with how I am, if it's not obvious, I'm not doing it.
I still can't recommend their burgers, they are a steaming pile of boiled something... Everything else on the menu is fair. Service is pretty good (considering you have a button to call for service)... Seats are quite comfortable and movie prices are good enough you can skip the mall! Tuesdays are $5 movie night!
My family and I are such a fan. The owner is kind and you can feel the family friendly atmosphere and it's always really clean. Nachos are gross 😂 everything else is good though ☺️. We have been in here too many times to count and not one complaint...the nachos are a personal opinion 😉 someone else could love 'em. And they are also autistic child friendly 🥰 All in all Marcus Theater is a definite recommendation!!
Awesome place for date night. Big, soft, power recliners. You order your food and they'll bring anything you want during the movie. A bit pricey, but so are conventional theaters. The only time you ever have to leave your seat is to go to the bathroom.
Update: better screens, lower quality food. It came out wrong and they almost forgot to remake it. The portions of the worse food are way more expensive. Keep it up, Movie Tavern. People got used to watching movies at home before. If I'm going to spend $60 to feed 3 people, I'll just smoke a brisket. Little more time, but at least it's worth the $ and I know nobody spit on it or picked it up off the floor.
