We love the Rio Grande Restaurant. Reasonably priced and delicious food. They work very hard trying to please, if your not sure what is in a menu item, they are happy to explain what is in it and if there is any deviation you want, such as a different meat, or a different sauce, they are happy go ablige.

Food was good but could see why it closed. I ordered take out for myself and several others. Came back home with nothing labeled. Tried to figure out who’s meal was whose for about 10 min or so. Nevertheless, I honestly don’t care if they stay closed. We have plenty of other Mexican places in the area.

Although it's structure are that of the old Friendly's restaurant, you could not tell. It was like walking into Mexico! The smell of the fresh steak sizzling, the aura of authenticity swarming about. Southwest colors and pictures strategically arranged about. Latino/Mexican music playing in the background finishing off the realistic features.
The food was amazing and fresh. The waitress recommended the guacamole, and in deed we did. The flavors were not too salty, but just right. Portion size was larger than usual and came out quickly. Cost for 2 people with tip was $30.00
Overall great experience. I recommend it and I will be returning.
