    Why do I Love the Alford House ? The Dillon's Enjoy making Their CUSTOMERS HAPPY ! ???????? Opened by a WWII VETERAN and His Lovely Wife and now Their Son's Carry On the Family tradition ! ????????

    They serve dinners only on fridays... Lunch everyday. During lent we go there for their fish dinners. This is a no frills bar... dive?.... a local place know in Marcellus for a long time.

    The fish dinners are very good. Better than many places we have tried. We like the frys and coleslaw as well, but the draw is the fish... fried just right and large. They make great shrimp and scallops as well. They make burgers and the such as well....

    Do I recommend the place? Yep. I do wish they would do dinners other days as well though.

    Would I drive out of my way to go to the place? For the fish.. yep... for the other items I can't comment as we always have the fish.

    Great atmosphere, great bartenders with awesome service and fantastic food. An all around great bar!
