I dine here regularly and I have yet to leave this place less than amazed. Chef Cody and Chef Nick are true craftsmen in the kitchen. You can taste the dedication, passion, love, and hard work in every dish they create. Their menu is constantly changing and using local ingredients throughout the seasons to deliver dishes that tantalize every tastebud in your mouth! The multiple course offerings alongside optional wine and cocktail course pairings creates one heck of a culinary adventure/ dining experience. The chefs are inclusive to all and care a lot about making you feel loved and cared for while dining. They are very creative and can work with all diets , allergies, and dietary restrictions. I know this because I have a few myself! If you haven’t dined in yet you are truly missing out!

Phenomenal food - Phenomenal ambiance - Phenomenal staff! My wife and I went for our 12th anniversary dinner on Saturday night (first time visit to Defi Cuisine Corp), and it was easily the "most fun" dining experience we have ever had. Not to mention - the taste, presentation and thoughtfulness of the food was second to none. Easily the most polished and sophisticated food in Syracuse - we will be back! Congratulations to Chefs Cody and Nick and the rest of the staff - you guys have something special!

As I crossed the threshold at Defi the other night I was greeted 1st by Nick (Proprietor) with a wonderful smile and a Hello!! Moments later another VERY CALCULATED Hello!! from Cody (Proprietor). Where does one go in Syracuse and get this type of "Family Kitchen" welcome? No Where that I have experienced, and I am a life long resident of Syracuse.

From the moment Nick personally sat me at the Chef's Table and introduced his staff it was like being with old friends. Now, I have to say if you want great interaction and Professionally prepared Raw, Whole Nutritious, hand picked ingredients this is a MUST EXPERIENCE!! BUT keep in mind this is a place to connect with your dining partner(s) as much as the FOOD!

Defi, more IMPORTANTLY, Cody, Nick, the staff and FOOD are a gift to our Community. Go spend some time with fork in hand, you wont be disappointed.

Not for the weak minded or boring! If you succumb to Jedi Mind tricks or decide to spend your valuable Saturday evening at Golden Corral or the Olive Garden, you may not like Défi. The menu we choose was the four course chefs choice with wine and cocktail pairings. The chef does a consultation to make sure how best to cater your preferences. How refreshing to be surprised with every course! The cuisine was absolutely delicious, and the open kitchen sang a song of devotion to the art. The cocktail and wine pairings were a perfect lead-in to each course. My only regret is that after the dinner was over, I had to watch a patron's pasta dish being plated. I will definitely be returning to sample more off the menu.

This was hands down, the best meal I believe I’ve ever had. My fiancé and I came during the Syracuse Downtown Dining Week, and I came assure you we will be coming back. The food was unbelievable and the service was perfect. The staff are super friendly and know how to take care of their patrons. Also, the cocktails are AMAZING. If I could give it 6 stars, I would.
