Funk 'n Waffles

Such a funky place (as the name suggests!). Options for everyone - and not your traditional waffles! The owners have applied such a creative flare to this fun place. The falafel waffle was fantastic and very filling! If I go again, I'll likely get 1/2 of 1 type and 1/2 of another so I can try more of their awesome options!

This was my 1st experience with chicken and waffles, I'm a chicken fanatic and not a fan of waffles. The food was incredible! Food presentation was very good. Waffles were soft and tasty, and the chicken was fantastic! Chicken had a great crispy, tasty batter and was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend Funk n Waffles. Great decor and great music!

Awesome waffles, tasty, unique flavours, so delicious however the only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is we waited over 30 mins for two half serves of waffles, we visited on a Monday morning at around 10am, they were not exceptionally busy but were still struggling with keeping up with everyone's order, you could see some very unhappy people that had also been waiting a long time.

My fiancé and I visited Funk 'n Waffles for the first time on Valentine's Day and we absolutely loved it! It was very busy and yes we had to wait for awhile, but it was completely worth it. The wait wasn't bad either. It gave us the opportunity to have coffee, listen to good music, and relax on the couch in the lounge area. Once our waffles were done they were perfect. The waffles were a nice golden brown, not over done, with ingredients, especially the fruit, which looked ridiculously fresh. We had a great time and we seriously cannot wait to come back! Keep doing what you're doing Funk 'n Waffles, we completely love it from the food to the atmosphere. Thanks! :)

Very simple and nice place! Hard to find considering the location in all the one way (in the basement of a building on the campus) but it's worth it.

Yes, you have to work a little : you have to stand up to get your plate when it's ready and clean your table but the employees are very gentle.

The music is great and the food very good. I'm not a fan of waffles, but they are amazing. You have to stop by if you're looking for a breakfast and taste the waffle. Enjoy!
