The Gem Diner

Love the Gem Diner ! Hate it to be closed Mondays. Keep forgetting. Great choices of dinners, lunches, and best of all breakfasts all day long. Very good waitressing, quick turnaround on tables, never a long wait, excellent food, great daily specials. One of our top favorites !

My Boyfriend and I had a great server. The breakfast was outstanding and there was a young lady who was cleaning tables had given us refills on our coffees. I had to tell our waitress how thoughtful she was to us. Thank you very much

The menu had a pretty large selection of items priced within a reasonable price range. The place is kept very clean. My hash browns were a bit greasy and plain; however, the omelette was delicious, you could really tastes the veggies. Coffee wasn't burnt and tasted just right. The staff was very friendly and young.

It’s easy to get diner food just right, but it’s just as easy to make a mess of it. I’m happy to say, I’ve always had a great meal at The Gem. When ever I’m on this side of town, it’s always my go-to for a fast simple meal (comfort food). Recently, I went by at lunch time, but hadn’t had breakfast that morning. I couldn’t decide what to have. Luckily, I could have both, and partook in the breakfast hamburger platter. Think ‘steak & eggs’ but instead of the steak, you get a burger just the way you like it with all the trimmings (minus the bun) AND eggs, home fries, and toast. (I tend to stay away from gluten, but still, you get the idea). This has since become my new favorite breakfast!

I come here as often as I can. Breakfast, lunch, dinner it's all delicious. I've yet to have anything I didn't like. The wait staff is friendly & attentive. The prices are reasonable. They really care that you have a good dining experience here.
