Captain's Cafe

Good service, a good breakfast spot, appeared to have a number of regulars. Good price. Would recommend.

Food is STELLAR! I've eaten here weekly since coming to work in Geneva. Today I realized I ordered a breakfast I didn't understand. I thought I was ordering Corned beef hash and eggs. What I actually ordered was corned beef (shredded corned beef) And eggs with a side of home fries and sausage. I thought I got the wrong food until I realized I said my order wrong. Bottom line........ THE FOOD I ACCIDENTALLY ORDERED WAS BETTER THEN WHAT I THOUGHT I ORDERED. This place has amazing food and great service. Glad I tried the food before I assumed I was given the wrong food. I'll be eating this again real soon.

Was looking for a mid-late breakfast when passing through Geneva on business, so I parked the Jeep in a parking lot and went onto google to find something to bite on. A few steps away was “Captains Cafe.” Waking in was underwhelming in appearance, but it was clean. Right when I walked in, I was promptly greeted and shown a few tables that were available. Coffee was offered first, which was unimpressive but not uncommon so not an issue. Was given enough time to look over the menu until I made my choice, and then I patiently waited. Food arrives, and I’m immediately impressed by its presentation… the edible flower made me happy inside! The dish was awesome, though I will say the hash brown was rather plain.

Either way, I’d recommend this establishment; I’ll be back again at some point to hopefully be impressed again.
