The Rusty Pig

Very small. Long wait. Somewhat crowded. But totally completely 100 percent worth it. Some of the best BBQ I've had outside of the south. The plates are somewhat small, but are enough to pleasantly fill you. You get your money's worth, and more. Above average beer selection, amazing smoked wings. The pork bbq sandwich was perfectly saucy, without making it a mess. Able to be enjoyed and not have to finish with a fork. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys small bbq joints to rave about. Minutes walk away from downtown Geneva, and other places to grab a drink.

Was passing through via I-90 and checked out half a dozen restaurants in town before deciding to sit down at the Rusty Pig. Great food (both on the BBQ and vegetarian side of the menu), unique and tasteful beer selection (with a fair number of sour and IPA variants at the time), and the ultimate giant cookie for dessert. They just opened in June 2019 and are expanding. Family run startup. Staff cares. I can’t say enough good things. I’m telling my motorcycle tour buddies from New England.

Great place for dinner
We've been here 3 times. It's cozy with a great selection of beers (5*).

The service is friendly and they make good suggestions and are knowledgeable about the menu and food (5*)

We love the nachos (5) and the chicken wings (4).

So far we've tried the brisket (4*) short ribs (5*) Mac and cheese (5*) shrimp tacos (4) cornbread (3*) the Cuban (2) the roll was not good. It should be compressed and come out crispy which was sad because the inside was delicious. French fries (0*) they were undercooked and uninspired. The fries do not come close to the level of the rest of the food. Go ahead and and some fresh black pepper and some rosemary.

We have lots of other things to try and will be back for sure.

Food is the best. The steak was the most flavorful I’ve I ever had and the wings are amazing. Drink selection is great for anyone that drinks beer. Bartenders are friendly and know their stuff and the wait staff is attentive. Can’t wait to come back.
