Best breakfast I've had in a long time, great service and unique offerings!

This place is amazing although it does have some downsides which I will get to later.

First the good. Their bread. If you like bread you need to check this place out. I mean how many places can you get pumpernickel bread? Also their rye bread is the bomb, as us 90's kids used to say. You also have to try their different choices for french toast. My favorite is the lemon poppy seed. Although be aware they are good sized pieces so I wouldn't recommend getting more than one.

Now for the bad. First is the size. This place is tiny which is almost a blessing and a curse. If you get there after 8 on a Saturday be prepared for at least an hour wait. Because their kitchen is small and everything is home made it takes a while for food to come out. I'm pretty sure it's a one person kitchen staff. Don't worry though the food is well worth the wait. Just don't get there at 9 and expect to be eating before 10.

The other downside I have to complain about is their meat. If you went to a state college like I did you are probably familiar with circle bacon. This is what they serve here. After being served that I wasn't brave enough to try any of their other breakfast meats. So just beware that is one item I would stay away from.

Lastly I have to comment on their coffee. This isn't just straight watery diner coffee, this is legit. They also offer different flavors.

So in conclusion this is a great place to eat. Just make sure you show up early and to beat the crowd and don't order the circle bacon. Follow these guidelines to some of the best breads of your life.

Good food and sweet people I would definitely go back

Cute local diner with excellent food & service. Would have done 5 star but small grill size drasticly limits amount of servings. But for a quality casual meal you arent rushed for.... its Wonderful.

Such a cute little hole in the wall breakfast spot. Parking is a bit limited and the wait can be a little long but definitely worth it. Their cinnamon swirl bread is a must.
