The Architype of a Bed and Breakfast. When you imagine a bed and breakfast in your head you'll see Springdale farms. This 200 year old farm has been exceptionally well maintained. The rooms are spacious, quiet and comfortable. The common area is expansive. Eileen makes a wonderful breakfast and is just simply charming. Far and away this is the nicest B&B I've stayed in.
Absolutely beautiful property in the fingerlakes region. Eileen crafted a wonderful breakfast that she proudly proclaimed to be "farm to table". Quick jaunt to many of the regions wineries and scenic points.
I was looking for a restful spot after 10 hours of interstate driving that was close to an exit, but with enough space to provide respite. Springdale B&B offered exactly that. I found the B&B easily and drove by a number of stores, if shopping had been in the cards. The hot cup of tea enjoyed on the side patio on a perfect summer evening provided the decompression I needed after hours on the road. The room was as advertised, the grounds were idyllic farm setting offering a nice pastoral feel, the trail across the street offered a quick running loop before I hit the road again for more driving. The breakfast was scrumptious - the house made yogurt, fresh jam, and fruit was a nice wake up! The banana upside down fresh toast with candied walnuts was unexpected combination of delightful flavors. Eileen was the perfect hostess welcoming and offering tips. A grateful shout-out to Eileen who returned an item I left there making a stressful situation manageable! Thank you Eileen for the restful stay. If my travels have me that way again, I will happily rebook!
This is our first stay at a bed and breakfast, but we were well and truly wowed by Eileen's establishment. The room was exactly as advertised, and it was advertised quite nicely. What really made an impression, however, was the breakfast. Eileen professes to really enjoy cooking. I really hope so, because I sure enjoyed eating it.
