“This was my first time here. The staff (including Josh, our server) was very friendly. Appetizers came out quickly and were fresh and hot. The Mozzarella sticks were delicious. That said, had I known how big the portions were, I would not have ordered an appetizer. The chicken strips were good and I had mac & cheese on the side. It was excellent and the prices were good for what we got. Definitely going back.”

“This place is amazing. Hands down best hibachi in Rochester. Everything from when you walk in the front door til when you leave is awesome. The long range shot of saki from the chef had me laughing! “This location is always clean and well stocked. There is lots of free parking around the building, and plenty of seats inside, as well as a balcony area outside with a few tables. If you haven't been before, the bacon cheeseburger is far superior to Five Guys and In-N-Out, and their root beer is the best I've ever had! “The subway was located in a mall food court, and naturally your expectations go down, while the prices increase over the non convenient locations. My only knock on Subway in general is the portions. If you ask for onions they put maybe 3 pieces on the sub, but it you want lettuce they will load it up depending on your wishes. Overall though you do get a good product with a smile.”

“First time as Champps was stellar! I came in for lunch a few weeks ago with my husband and kids, we had the server Madhur K and the kids loved him! My husband and I split the Crispy Shrimp Tacos and the Mile High Nachos under his recommendation while the kids had chicken tenders and french fries. Food was great! Unfortunately when he brought us our check, the credit card machines were down. He was still able to run it through quickly and he even gave our kids little paratrooper toys! He sure did make us a laugh a whole lot! Our second time and Champps was just as great as the first. We had the server Delaney E and she was sensational! She was great with the kids and although it seemed like the restaurant was busy she made sure to stop by and check on us routinely. This time I had the BBQ Chopped Salad and my husband had the Turkey Avocado Wrap which once again, the food did not disappoint. She was just as positive as our first server, Champps does a great job with training their servers! We will definitely be making Champps a frequent stop for us when we're shopping. The food might be a little pricey but the service and the quality is worth it!”

“We went the week after they opened and also again like two weeks later. This place is just gorgeous on the inside. I had a cider and it honestly tasted like champagne, it was really good! The place is two levels, with three bars total. There are lots of places to sit, both upstairs and downstairs. Upstairs looks to be more for an event space, but there is a balcony that overlooks the main area and it's really pretty to look over. It's old New York themed which is clearly evident and it's a very cool concept. When we went there was a pretty long wait but it was expected because it was basically opening week. I tried two of the burgers and while the taste was pretty decent, the burgers didn't have enough toppings. I was really excited about what was on the burgers but then I could barely taste anything on them. The fried we're really good, definitely opt for the truffle fry upgrade because they are super flavorful. The staff was nice but I did get ignored at the bar for about 20 minutes before I had to call someone over, only to be told to hold on. Overall, I'd like to go again but I don't know that I will because I feel a little let down each time.”
