Mesa Mexican Grille

Last night was probably my 5th time there. On every visit, the food has been great- no complaints there at all. However, last night was the first night that the drinks completely sucked. The first round of cocktails were watered down and lacking in taste. They were very apologetic and got us another round, unfortunately, these drinks were terrible also. They apologized, took the drinks off the bill and gave us free desserts. The staff was nice but very young and in need of some training. Our server spent a lot of time at the kitchen window and never checked on us. I had to flag her down several times. Another server brought our desserts but with no spoons. I had to get up and go ask for a spoon ( which was dirty). This place could be a real gem with some staff training and a real bartender.

If you want fancy decor and looks goo to Maya, if you want delicious authentic Mexican food go here. This place reminded me of a restaurant I ate at in New Mexico, plainly appointed, but the food, you must taste. Yummm
