I LOVE the McCheeseburgers!

McDonald's on State Street is nice clean and friendly the food is you know it's McDonald's

I used the drive though option which is driving around the way back. There is a clearly marked sign towards the drive though in the back, easy to see and follow. After that way before the building there is the ordering station. Worked out fine and fast with good spearks and mike system. Sales person got order correctly right away. Afterwards there is a relatively long distance to the payment and pick up window. A little hard to notice but was ok. If there were other customers would be easier but we had the express with no wait. When we paid I wasn't told to wait for the pick up of my order and I mistakenly drove on to look for the NONE existing pick up window as many McDonald's have. Employee didn't notify me to just wait for my order or yell or signal me to NOT drive away. After driving away there was NO easy way to get back. Going back in reverse wasn't possible since it was a long way back and additional customers already parked at the Payment & Delivery window. By the time I got back in line at the Payment & Delivery window there were 2 cars in front of me and I had to wait for a long time to pickup my food. Was very slow going.
McDonald's should improve their sign and in addition employee should instruct customer to wait there for their food pick up THERE!

You already know the deal with McDonald’s. Decent to mediocre food, at least they’re consistent. The unique thing about this rest stop is that there is a drive through. Very convenient. I had two chicken wraps, fries and a Diet Coke. Pretty solid choice on my part. I sat outside at the picnics tables and crushed the meal in about 2.5 minutes. BBQ sauce was complementary.
