Scotch Bonnet

So it's one of those dreary cloudy winter days that really has a chill that goes down to the bone. I was walking around the galleria Mall thinking what am I going to have for lunch? So I decided to walk around but I couldn't decide on anyting. Then I finally passed Scotch Bonnet and the aromas that were coming from their counter made my mouth water. I typically would go for something like the oxtail stew or the goat Curry but today I had the chicken curry with red beans and rice, plantains and cabbage. I have to say it was amazing! this is not the kind of place that you just wander to, this is the place you run to!!! The food was perfectly spiced didn't taste like your random Mall generic kind of food it tasted homemade and that's something that pleased me beyond words. My bones are no longer chilled I left with a smile. My dreary day turned bright! The food was amazing the staff was so sweet I can't wait to go back!!!

Had Jerk chicken , curry chicken , chicken pattie , rum cake , steamed cabbage and rice with beans. Was amazing. Just right spice. Great flavor. Huge portion. Fast friendly service.

I dined here three nights in a row. Only during the snowstorm it didn't sell out. We liked the oxtail stew, expecially, and the curry goat was nice and spicy. We would have liked the plantains but they were too dry and not as sweet as we have become to love. Call ahead for jerk chicken.
