The Warwick Inn

Owner Alberto has reached a new level as a restauranteur, with the Warwick being our very favorite restaurant in the lower NY/upper NJ area. He cheerfully and sincerely greets each person as a good friend, personally hangs your coat, and proudly seats you at a table that seems chosen just for you. The chefs prepare food that is consistently excellent, with surprising subtle twists on traditional dishes along with unique creations. There's always enough servers, with several helping out at each table, and while they certainly are busy no one seems rushed or harried. They've been well-trained to know when to show up, and when to allow guests to linger over their food, or after eating. Drinks and dessert are offered without pressure. Last evening the holiday menu was cleverly designed for variety, while enabling the kitchen staff to prepare each dinner in a reasonable time despite the full house. The ambiance is elegant and understated, just like the physical restoration of this former mansion. This is a gem, not to be missed; try it once and you'll likely return often!

I had the experience of dinning at The Warwick Inn this past weekend and my experience exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious and delightfully decorated. The server was kind and informative along with his suggestion of the stuffed mushrooms, that was an absolute ”must try” and I don't use that term lightly. Thank you to the staff members for everything. I usually don't leave reviews but for such an exceptional evening, I felt it was necessary to show my appreciation.

All the food was amazing. Crab cake was amazing. There were beautiful antiques, it was very fancy, and staff was very nice. I am definitely coming back.

Food was truly delicious. Has a somewhat Italian menu. Very accommodating staff. Interesting interior a little fussy but fun. You can certainly sit and stay awhile.

Food is excellent. Service is very attentive. Atmosphere is cozy and warm. Country mushroom appetizer is delicious. My wife raved about the scallops. I plan on having the short ribs on my next visit.
