Lures Restaurant and Bar

We decided to try Lures Restaurant for an early dinner tonight. We had a drink on the deck. It was a little chilly so we went inside for another before dinner at a table by the window. Lots to watch, swans, jet skis, boats, all from a beautiful spot at the Bald Eagle Marina. I decided to try the red snapper. It was served with a medley of olives, artichokes and tomatoes, garden veggies and rice. It was delicious. Maybe one of the best meals I have ever had. My husband had a cup of chowder and the broiled scallops. Both of us were very impressed. Our waitress Nicole, was the best. I think we have found our new favorite restaurant. Oh, did I mention how beautiful it is???

We had been here in the Spring and I was reluctant to return due to the very poor service and so-so food. Last week we were launching our boat and were hungry so we decided to give it another try and I’m glad we did. What a difference from the first time.
Service was much better. Our server was prompt and polite. I loved the fact that the manager, John, came over to the table, introduced himself and checked in a couple of times after that. Food was good as well. The restaurant has so much potential as the scenery is beautiful. It was definitely a different experience this second time. In the Spring I would not have recommended it to anyone, now it’s a different story.

Really great atmosphere! The inside seating has great views of the lake and the outside deck seating is awesome as well. Nice drink menu selection featuring craft beer and great mixed cocktails. A great spot for drinks and appetizers or dinner. Food was great! Burgers were cooked correctly based on what was requested. Fish fry and other menu items were really good as well. Attentive staff rounded out the whole experience. Will definitely be making other visits!

I came in last night for dinner with my boyfriend. We had a great experience, although the service was a little slow, we had a great server. And the manager came over and introduced himself to us which was a pleasant surprise. He made us feel so welcomed and appreciated. We’ll definitely be making our way back! Recommended to all our family and friends

We had a good experience... food was excellent and service was excellent, the place is beautiful.

The issue is NOISE .... it is beautifully decorated .... but every surface is hard. After about 8 people was in the dining area, we could no longer hear each other. They must do something to improve. It is a great location .... but the noise level will prevent us from going back.
