This place is yet another hidden gem! I must say that you don't want to miss out on this generously portioned and homemade food diner. I can not express how satisfied I am with my experience. HUGE food portions and super fair prices will have me coming back every time I visit the area. You guys absolutely rock! Thank you for an unforgettable experience. Great job owners and workers! PS. The home made chocolate pie is the BEST around. You will find nothing boxed about their deserts. YUM.
This is my absolute favorite diner of all time! From the homemade bread to their wonderful pies and great prices and staff, this place is terrific!
If I had a diner I'd want to run it like this
This is not only the pinnacle of Pulaski, but is also the main meeting place in town. If you come in and don't see someone you know, you haven't lived in Pulaski long enough. But you should stay and get to know folks. Eating here is the quickest and easiest way to do that. I've been coming here since it was just Hometown Diner, and since it has become Artie's, it is still one of my favourite places to eat. Maybe even more now since becoming Artie's. The food is amazing, the coffee is excellent, the staff is all friendly and super polite, and the place reflects very well what Pulaski means to a lot of people. It's a fishing community that values faith and feels like home. This all comes from a biased local, but when someone visits and they spend any amount of time in this town and at this wonderful restaurant, which really should have dinner hours, they get a taste of what it means to be a local. Pulaski wouldn't be Pulaski without Artie's.
Kettle chips made on site, fries are cooked perfectly, and they make a fine burger. Plus, good crisp dill pickles! Plan on going back in near future and bringing whole family. Kid friendly Mom and Pop, million times better the McDonald's.
I have been there 3 times while spending time with my family. 2 times for breakfast and once for lunch. The food I had was so tasty! Everyone was so friendly. Definitely a Hometown gathering place. Best Eggs Benedict ever! Do yourself a favor and make time to stop in!
