Cooperstown Diner

If you like quaint, no frills eateries with awesome real home cooking this is the place for you. Standard dinner fair in a tiny setting. People actually waited outside on the sidewalk for seats to open which tells you a lot. When I say "home cooking" i mean just that! I'll make my point with this item from their menu: home-made corn beef hash. Yes...it was awesome!

The Cooperstown Diner on Main Street is a must visit for breakfast...lunch or dinner...there may be a bit of a wait at times since there is less than forty seats between tables and the bar to sit at but it is worth the time...
Every time my significant other and I eat there it is a treat...we are fans of their breakfast and have sampled most of the breakfast menu...she had the corned beef hash which was crisp on the outside...moist and tasty...a nice portion and filling along with two eggs...toast and bottomless coffee...I had two eggs over with crispy bacon and home fries...we both opted for the rye toast...crunchy and tasty...our coffee cup was never less than half full and our waitress has always been friendly and efficient...
We have in the past enjoyed breakfast sandwiches....omelets and more...the burgers we have seen are substantial and the desserts look delicious...
Set aside some time on your next trip to Cooperstown...stop at the diner for a leisurely meal and enjoy the old fashioned service....highly recommended...

Great spot for breakfast. The diner is quite small so seating is limited. Only a few tables, there is a short bar as well. Food isn't amazing, but definitely hit the spot. It's got that great little diner atmosphere to it. The waitress was very nice and obviously working very hard to serve everyone but she had a great attitude. If you're hungry and need a bite to eat I highly recommend this little spot.

Small diner and very nice and cozy. very friendly personality and we enjoyed the waitress stories and educational suggestions. I will go back again! The food came out so fast! it was homemade and great!
