Tunnicliff Inn

Nice quiet out of the way place. Great service. I had a burger. Excellent. Wife had a chicken club sandwich. Was excellent as well. Very quiet for a Friday night. And yea - the stairs from the sidewalk DOWN are steep. I had a hip replacement 10 months ago - I had no trouble whatsoever.

Quiet, great breakfast nice inn

We went in for the Tuesday night dinner specials. There is a menu with a few different choices of meals each at $7.00, it's not too bad, you get what you pay for. I think the server could use a little more training. Upon arrival there was no salt on our table which we don't use so it was fine. Well at the point my dinner date was finished and I was finishing up the waitress comes to the table and stretches across my plate and the table to place the salt shaker in the condiment holder. It was a complete turn off. The meal was clearly finished, so it could have waited at that point. So, it is what it is, not terrible but not great.

Well maintained older inn with lots of character! We enjoyed our stay in a very comfortable room, with WiFi, cable tv, coffee maker and lots of plugs!
The buffet breakfast was very good...my eggs Benedict was delicious as was my husband's Belgium waffles! Sylvia, our morning breakfast lady was friendly, efficient and a big asset to the Tunnicliff Inn.
Right off main road in the center of town, it was a perfect location

Great food, been going there for years. Extremely friendly staff and excellent service. Highly recommended!!!
