Good pizza. Great prices.
For my first visit I was quite impressed by the quality of the food in comparison to the price. I ordered as part of their daily specials, the pasta with truffle gravy and an order of homemade chips. Can you believe it only came out to $7?!!! The pasta dish was so delicious and had plenty of truffle gravy. And not many places idea truffle gravy on their menu. The homemade chips were nice and paper thin with just hint of salt and pepper. The restaurant itself if very cute with about four tables. There's also an outdoor area in the back. I can't wait to go back and try other items from their menu. And like I said they offer daily specials Monday to Friday. I'm already planning on getting the Wednesday special which is a choice of hero sandwich.
My favorite pizza spot in Astoria on cheat days :) food and staff are great.
Pizza the way it should be. Greasy, thin enough to fold, and hot. After an hour of sitting at home debating which new pizza shop I should try, I’m glad I chose Slice. At $2.50 a slice, this little pizza shop sells a killer taste in sauce and a crust that sits at just the right amount of crispy. Waitstaff was prompt and friendly. Atmosphere was laid back, which is good for people going to eat alone. On top of that, it’s in a nice area of Astoria to sit and people-watch. This was my first time visiting Slice and I’ll absolutely be back in the future.
