Glen Oaks Pizzeria

This place used to be very hit-or-miss depending on who made the pie. Ever since it went under new management, not only has the pizza become more consistent, but the quality of the ingredients has improved greatly, too. You can taste the difference, and it's mainly because the staff isn't visibly stressed anymore.

I would recommend getting your drinks from the refrigerator, since there are so many more options, and they're much colder and refreshing than from the fountain.

also the Sicilian is quite good as well.
light airy crisp.crust like it should be.
this is actually difficult to find on long island.
many LI places have thick, moist, gooey Sicilian crusts which is all.wrong :(

I ordered a Sicilian pizza last night. I was skeptical, because of the mixed reviews. The service was wonderful, the lady on the phone and main counter was very pleasant, and gave an appropriate time for pick up. I showed up exactly when she said it would be ready, and she had just finished closing the box. As I walked to my car the first thing I noticed is how heavy the box was, I thought it was surprising considering most pizza places give you paper thin pizza that leaves you hungry after eating a whole pie.

The pizza was AMAZING. I loved it, and my husband loved it. One of the best sicilian’s I’ve ever had. I recommend this place 100%.

What a nice, quaint, special find here in Glen Oak, ownership was recently changed, and you can feel the love and effort put in by them. Slices are nice and wide, and especially tasty, with a wide variety of pizza and heroes, ensuring everyone has something to enjoy. To top off my meal me and my girlfriend were gifted espressos, on the house! A stellar find with excellent food.

Good pizza, really like it. Only negative is that the place is hot. It needs better ac. So i rather carry out than eat there. I enjoy their pizza, so ill keep coming back.
