The Pomeroy

Love this restaurant. The food is so good. Honestly haven’t had a dish we haven’t loved. The service is so friendly and the cocktails are spot on. If you like a good old fashion, get one here. The last time we were there they found out my husband and I recently gotten married and brought us out complimentary dessert. We are moving our of Astoria but will make an effort to come back to visit this place, it’s thats good.

I came in here with my boyfriend on a busy Saturday night around 9pm. We stayed for one drink - both got the Pomeroy Old Fashioned. It was delicious. The drink was made skillfully and quickly. Service was attentive and friendly. The establishment is larger than I expected it to be based on the storefront on Ditmars. It goes back a good ways and the dining room opens up into a nice open room.

I plan to return for dinner sooner rather than later. I will update my review once I've done this!

Food is out of this world. Lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Excellent place for a fine and good old breakfast.

We went here two times and everything that we'd ordered was great, at least great to order one day and return the other day.

Also the special with free champagne was a nice one. Let's say if I comeback to Astoria and would pass by again.

The Pomeroy, in my opinion, is the best bar/restaurant on Ditmars. First off, the service is great from the moment you walk in. All of the waiters and the bartenders are super nice and friendly, which immediately sets a positive tone for me. The food and drinks are just amazing. I have been there for brunch and dinner, and you really just can't go wrong since everything seems to be delicious. If you haven't tried it, I would very highly recommend The Pomeroy Breakfast for brunch and the burger for dinner, so delicious!

Now to my favorite part, drinks! I have yet to try a bad mixed drink here. They have a pretty solid selection of beer on draft, but I usually only order cocktails because they are just so damn good. Some of my favorites are the Ditmars Blvd, the Guava Spritz, and my god, the MARGARITA. Stop by on Tequila Tuesday's and order a $7 margarita, which is a steal for how good (and strong) this thing is. Looking for a place to eat/drink on Ditmars? Check this place out, seriously!
