Amazing food. Service is impeccable as well. Awesome staff! They treat me like a king!
Came on a weekday, literally the only ones there. Was seated right away. The waiters were beyond nice, the hibachi chef was funny and entertaining knew how to engage with everyone at the table. Food was amazing. Something for everyone. I'm a vegetarian so i appreciated that he made my meal first before preparing the meat meals on the table. Would definitely come back.
Authentic Japanese hibachi and sushi. Pricing is good, service pleasant. Couldn't figure out the odd lighting and decor in the dining room, especially since the ante room is so traditional
Compared to other food destinations in Forest Hills, food is good. In comparison to food destinations in NYC at large? Different story, but location is everything. The food is not bad as far as Hibachi restaurants go. The chefs were friendly and speedy in getting the food prepared. I tried the lamb hibachi and the chef cooked it as I liked. A lot of garlic butter is used in the fried rice, noodles, and vegetables side dishes which come with the meal--not complaining because I loved the taste, but buyer beware. I wasn't looking for an in-your-face cooking demonstration so the level of customer interaction was just my speed. Would come back if I'm in the mood for American-Chinese.
The food is consistently delicious. There are a few new "chefs," and they need more training on showmanship and food prep, if they're going to cook Hibachi style. But overall, I still give it 4/5 stars
