I like this place, always get the fish ball noodle soup. Most decent food spot near Queens College.
Authentic Cantonese/HK food, best wonton noodle soup tried in NY so far. Also have soup dumplings and casserole offered. Casserole has 15-20 min. wait for preparation. Both soup dumplings and casserole is about average. Have booth seatings for large party, but limited seats and tables in general, can get pretty crowded during rush hour. Waitresses can get rude during these times, they will hand you checks before you ask for it. Suggested to come at around 11am for lunch and 5pm for dinner. Street parking only, meter parkings during weekdays.
Best Hong Kong style noodle and congee in all of New York..., partly due to the lack of truly authentic ones. They use chive yellow instead of scallion green. My only knock is the heavy smell of alkaline water. I'm immune to it but my family often complains about it. (PS I've had some of the greatest wonton noodle in the world... including the Maks' in Hong Kong and Vancouver)
This is a casual place for some noodles, congee.
Place is clean, not that noisy.
Hong Kong Milk Tea - my favorite
Pork lo mein with spicy sauce - I like that
Fried wonton - wonton s good, but sauce is just sweet and soup sauce, not the "錦滷" I expected which also includes some meats
Congee taste good.
Rice rolls with mixed sauces is also good.
Soup dumplings & vegetables dumplings - just average.
Great authentic Hong Kong style cooking! From the hot pot rice to down the beef chow fun. Wonton noodle soup will warm your belly.
