Brunch doesn’t get any better than this! You’ll never want to brunch any where else once you’ve had brunch at The Shady Lady... and this also goes for dinner. The vibe is so laid back and cool and the food all day is the best you’ll find in Astoria! The best experience all around! And definitely don’t brunch without a drink (bellinis are my favorite)... it makes it that much better!
Food is good at the shady lady.. only one problem i really had. Although it was packed the wait didn't seem too long it was about 15min. Bottomless mimosas howeverr are weird! You can drink for 90min unlimited paying for it of course, thirty dollars PER PERSON. So, if I was hanging with 4 friends and we all wanted to do bottomless you do the math. This is not including anything else you want. Your food is a separate price and the lowest prices are about 15-17$ for an entree.. I will stress both are good. Food and drink.
I came Jan 2nd and it was empty. I was told by many people that I need to come for Brunch. Our food was good. The paste was so good. The chicken was juicy and not dry. My first time trying cauliflower rice, interestingly tasty. It's not rice but great replacement. Chicken was juicy again!!! The spinach fritters were crunch and the sauce gave it a burst. Fries are always good!!
I came here for bottomless brunch as well as dessert. Brunch was very good and they are quick to fill up your glass. There is a wait since this place is popular during brunch so go early if you have a big group. The dessert here is really good too and I'll definitely be back to try them all!
Went for brunch here with a friend and we had such a good time. I got the biscuits and gravy which is only $8 and comes with 2 halved biscuits. It was delicious and very filling. My friend loved her salmon BLT. We got the sangria which is good, but the seasonal pumpkin spice martini is an EXPERIENCE. It doesn't taste like pumpkin, just holiday spice and is to die for. We sat at the bar and the bartender was so nice.
