La Baraka

Was here for a private party. The thing that impressed me most was the level of service. They all really seemed to care about the experience that everyone had. Didn't get a 5th star because I felt the food was good to very good, but not *amazing*.

Since I was there for a party, my food experience may not be typical - they were serving 40+ main courses all at one time - so on a regular night ordering off the main menu might have resulted in an amazing dish - but I'm just reporting my own experience.

Again - great service though.

A very classic and family style restaurant. The staff and boss are very friendly. The union soup is a must order. The duck dish is good too. So upset my phone didn't take the soup picture. Time to update one. ????

I've been going to this restaurant for the past 20 years. It's not a fancy French restaurant, but it is a good one. The price is extremely reasonable and the food is always good. I love their pâté, onion soup, escargots and homemade desserts, especially the chocolate mousse. Their escargots is the real thing, served with shells. The bread is also homemade and tastes super awesome. Crisp outer layer and super soft inside. I always ask for extras to take home. Servings are also generous. I've never left without being full.

Classic French-Tunisian food. Family that runs it is very nice and accomodating. Really is an old school Queens place with alot of charm and heart. Twilight special is good value.

Awesome. Quiet and intimate atmosphere. Excellently prepared food. Kind and considerate personnel.
