I used to come here as a teenager at 2am and get disco fries. Haven't been here in almost 30 years. Anyway, our waiter was very friendly. Eggs are eggs and the burgers were pretty good. My daughter loves the Mac and cheese.

Just moved into the neighborhood, so im trying different places around here. I was very pleased with the service. My server was attentive. She kept checking on us and filling up our cups of water. I just wish their salads would use a more nutritious lettuce because iceberg lettuces are just water. That's why it's 4 stars instead of 5.

I wanted matzo ball soup so I thought I would try Esquire's version. It was delicious! The matzo balls were tasty & tender & there were pieces of tender chicken in the broth. There were also a little bit of noodles, which I did not want so I left those (but they, too, were tasty). I will go back for more. The service was excellent. My waiter was prompt & friendly. One of the waitresses retrieved copies of the local newspapers for me which are kept in a neat pile in the vestibule; I had hip surgery & could not bend to get them. This establishment is handicap-friendly; there is a side entrance for those with rollators, walkers, wheelchairs, etc. The ladies room has a stall that can accommodate those with medical equipment. But note that the toilet is average/low height.

I essentially got two meals for one and the food was excellent. The next time the opportunity arises that I'm near JFK and I want something more than a 5 minute fast food meal, this is where I will go.
