Texas Chicken and Burgers

The chicken is good. The fried seafood is too as well as the wings but burgers are surprisingly good. I don't taste flamed broiled like some others but there is something different about them that make them so tasty. Oh and they're large.

It's slim pickings for food in this area so I was glad to see that Texas Chicken and Burgers had opened up here. The place is cute with a small outdoor seating area in the front. There's a short flight of steps leading up to the door. The interior is clean with wood accents. The staff is super friendly and food is made fast. The prices are really reasonable. I would say cheaper than most fast food chicken joints. I got the four chicken wings with fries and soda for seven bucks. What a bargain! You can choose from four types of wings: BBQ, spicy, sweet and original. I ordered the original and I was impressed with my first few bites. The chicken is a bit on the greasy side but had a nice crunch. Fries were blah. Overall not a bad meal. Too bad during my meal they decided to empty out the garbage from their kitchen and proceeded to pull the large garbage bags pass the tables though the front door. Yuck. I don't know why they couldn't wait to do that during of hours. So strange so I took off one star from my review.

I usually order from this place though uber eats. I'd get the spicy chicken tenders, and it's usually very good. However, last night, I went to the restaurant to dine in, and the chicken was very dry and hard. There was more batter than actual chicken. I was very displeased. I think I will take a break from eating here for a while.

I like spicy chicken, and theirs is right on point! Biscuits are kinda blah, but their chicken, original or spicy is really good! We always get compliments or run out when we buy it!

Texas chicken and burgers has fried chicken (regular or spicy), grilled chicken and wings. They have fish sandwiches and fried shrimp. Of course they have a variety of burgers and fries. They have multiple side dishes and desserts. It’s halal certified, which I don’t know if that affects the taste at all. They have accommodating hours of 10a-3a.
