It's like stepping back into a previous era... and taking a glimpse into the wonderful world of authentically Italian-American cuisine!! - Who cares about the ambience, you're here for the FOOD. PERIOD. Baked clams, Veal don peppe, Salad don-peppe, incredible. Open all day long, cash only, and you call call in take-out orders too!

(February 1, 2019, 9:29 pm)Friendly staff and spacious restaurant. I hear they have lines out the door on weekends. We came on a Tuesday at 8:30pm and got seated straight away. My favorite dishes were the shrimp spaghetti (sauce was sooooo flavorful) and the lemon ice. It’s a lemon sorbet served inside a hollowed lemon. It’s sweet and tangy and the perfect ending to the meal.

Place could use a little upgrade. Decor is very dated but I guess it works for them. -
(December 30, 2018, 11:41 pm)I’ve been going to Don Peppe for years now. Staff is warm and friendly and you feel like you’re a local from around the neighborhood. Food is served family style and the portions are huge. Classic Italian food.
