Excellent little spot. It has a well prepared and thought out menu with selections that you cannot get anywhere else. I have yet to have something here that I did not like. Definitely a must!

A unique Peruvian experience in Ridgewood. The shop is small but the owner was welcoming and open to letting us try each ice cream flavor, both wine and Peruvian fruit specialties, till we found one we liked. We settled on Mango and Sparkling Strawberry wine. Both were excellent.

We ordered chicken and pork tamales to go, one of each. They were indeed homemade, cooked thoroughly and tasted great although a bit short on the meat inside for the price. My one warning is that the masa contained whole peanuts. I'm not allergic but the menu doesn't specify peanuts and this could be an issue for anyone with allergies.
