The Wharf

The Warf offers a 5-star local vibe and service, but gets 4-star due to a cash only policy. I'd love to be outside on the water in the summer and run up a large tab with my friends, but swim trunks only carry so much cash! There is an ATM inside.

Regardless, the food and drinks were reasonably priced for a quick lunch and the service very friendly and on point. The broiled flounder was nicely cooked and the extra fries were extra crisp.

To add to the local feel, you need to enter to the right of the Shell gas satation and head all the way back. Parking is on the left, entrance on the water side. Great views, even in the winter.

The wharf is a great place to eat outside dock your boat and eat or just have a drink. Weekend nights and sometimes days have a band. Usually have a local crowd the food is decent but the atmosphere is wonderful. They also have brunch every Sunday which is very popular and comes with a mimosa. we are all a fan of this place

Fun friendly place. Food is good, although no frills. Drinks are always cold. Nice views and the best sunset views in Rockaway Beach. Bring your camera. (I must add long wait for dinner - appreciated the waitresses letting us know it would be a long wait.)

So glad our sunny day at the beach turned into a rainy day at the beach. Found this place by accident. My partner and I loved it. Service was outstanding and it offers a great view of Jamaica Bay and it’s surrounding islands. Best of all, it doesn’t dig a hole in your pockets... “Affordable prices on food (large portions) and beers”. Will definitely come again.
