One of the best venues to dance in in NYC. They're serious about consent, there are indoor and outdoor spaces, there's fires to gather around and teepees to huddle in in winter, and the drinks are reasonably priced.

Very chill spot during the day (Winter - Indoors) with tons of activities. The late night boom boom is also a blast. They have a good chicken sandwich, decent fries and the beer selection is great. During the summer the outdoor area is killer (hence the five stars).

Went to Nowadays for their Nonstop New Years event and was really impressed with the place. It was clear they weren't just focused on making money but making sure that everyone there enjoyed their time as well. All of the staff was friendly and competent. The line to enter only took a few minutes as did the coat check line, and it was fast and easy to buy drinks and food. There was also free water available the entire night. I appreciated too that they sold only a limited number of tickets to the event; this meant there was plenty of room inside to move around and dance. At the end of the night every single one of us (out of a party of 20) agreed that we had a wonderful time. We'll definitely be back in the future!

Love this place. Great vibes and a safe space where consent is more than just words or gimmicks. I love the no phones on the dance floor rule - keeps people present and dancers free! Free water - this day and age is such a rarity but a must in my opinion for partying safely. Staff is friendly but keeps the place in order. Home to Mr Sunday - the best weekly party out there.
