They sell good Haitian food here. The food so good, I drive 20 miles to get some almost every day. The portions are reasonable for their price. Se yon Haitien ki kite review sa.

I've had better... but it's better than nothing, if that at all makes sense. I ordered corn meal with beans and boiled fish in gravy "Maïs moulin kolé ak pwa, poisson nan sauce".

I waited quite a while before giving this place a try, I even walked in on two separate occasions without ordering a thing. I was in search for some black rice and griot but it seems like even though everyone loves black rice, most Haitian creole restaurants don't make it regularly. Anyway, the first day I went there, over a month ago, I asked about the black rice and was told only on Thursdays. The guy actually seemed annoyed that I was even asking him questions, especially about the black rice. Out the blue, today, I remembered that they sold black rice on Thursday and it happened to be Thursday. I get to the restaurant around 11:30 a.m., prime, lunch time in the community. Most people have lunch between 11 and 1 over here. I enter, same guy that I spoke to over a month ago is there. Again, he seems annoyed by customers asking questions, specifically, about the black rice lol Maybe he isn't annoyed, maybe it's just his demeanor but that doesn't fly too long with customers in nearly established restaurants. They had a young lady there that appeared to have three demeanor and friendly vibe but she seemed almost startled to be around him and somewhat uncomfortable speaking. Odd. Well, the rice wasn't even available, at least not until 1 p.m. so I went back to work and returned at about 1:05 only to be told it still was ready and to give him a few minutes. Then after standing inside the store for 5 minutes while he service customers sho came in after me and one before me, he went into the back only to ask me if I could wait 15 more minutes. I told him no, and after about 7 more minutes he emerged with the black rice. Finally, reviews are about the service but most importantly the food, so here it is: . The griot was good, not great. The sauce that was tossed on it, was very good... and the black rice was ehhhh blah. Wasn't packed with flavor as I'm used to. No shrimp flavor nor shrimps in it. It had good color but they used long grained rice instead of short grain, jasmine rice. Seems specific, but everytime that I've had it elsewhere and it was great, it has always been short grain, jasmine. They also packed it with green peas. That's not a flavorful veggie. If I could give it 2.5 stars overall, I would but since I can't, I' rounded up to 3 instead. I'll continue to run with Porto-o-Prince on Linden instead. No black rice but much more flavorful food, much larger portion for their lunch special, no fee for using your card and the lunch special is $8 and could feed 2 people easily compared to Fusion's $9 which is enough for 1 person. For$11 at Porto o Prince you could get the large meal and feed 4 people. I hope this helps.
