Hands down the best taco truck I have ever been to in all of Queens. It’s just wow.
Yummy tacos. Friend got a yummy chicken burrito. Will be back!
Homerun.
This place has not disappointed my boyfriend and I. There are a ton of questionable texmex places in the immediate area. This is not one of them. Quick service, reasonable price tags, full bellies.
One gripe I had - the quesadilla is loaded with rice -- not my thing, and not what you'd typically expect in a quesadilla. Not enough cheese because of all the rice.
Another slight gripe - no sour cream served with anything...doesn't really count because I always have some in my fridge...but in case you are looking to order and hoping it comes with the meal, it doesn't.
That is my only negative point...the quesadilla was actually pretty good regardless, and huge...If i had remembered it the next day in time to bring it for lunch at work, it'd have lasted me two full meals.
Moving on, the chorizo nachos were MIND BLOWING. Such delectable salty goodness and a generous amount sprinkled on top. Huge portion, and it was one of those things that are so delicious and so heavy that even though you're ready to burst, you can't stop eating them until you actually hate yourself....no regrets.
Tried a chicken taco - now want to try all of the taco flavors. Served with double soft shell and a lime. Really good flavor.
My boyfriend had a spicy chicken burrito -- I know he enjoyed it because there wasn't a second i went to talk to him when his mouth wasn't absolutely filled with it's rice-y, tortillla-y goodness...though I didn't actually get confirmation on the quality...that spoke for itself. Really great...also he hasn't stopped talking about grabbing food from there again.
Just what we wanted, and we will certainly be back.
Highly recommend!
Never a disappointment!! The "Tacos" are awesome...
By far the best Mexican food in Astoria! They should win an award for best late spot.. only complaint is they are only there from around 5pm till 2am weekday's and 4am weekends... I want Mexican for lunch to!! :)
I have tried everything on the menu. I would recommend getting anything you want as you can never go wrong.
