Had really good croquettes and empanadas one day. They were gone the next so I tried a pork steak and some weird soup that I thought was chicken. It turned out to be pork fat. The place isn’t expensive; but, if you don’t know Spanish, then come here with someone who does. There are no posted prices, or menus, and who ever is behind the counter may or may not speak English.
Really good home cooking! Nothing fancy, just daily specials ready to go and more options from the kitchen served up by a sweet abuelita. Chivo guisado and pork ribs were delicious. Make sure you bring cash and grab plenty of napkins.
