Turkish cuisine is more familiar than most realize with its flavorful grilled meats as cubes or seasoned ground meats secured to kebabs and seared golden brown. My favorites are the red lentil soup and lamb soup; roasted eggplant salad; go for the Sofra Mixed Grill Platter; burnt milk pudding; almond milk pudding. I am not a huge fan of kenefe but fellow diners fawned over it as one of the best they ever had. I would trust their opinion.
There was only one waitress when I went to dine in. She was helping like 6 tables doing a good job on being attentive. The food came and it was delicious, pita bread tasted fresh and delightful. Overall it was very yummy. Will be going back to try other dishes. I had the shish kabob meal.
Amazing Turkish restaurant! Diligently prepared and authentic. I have never had such juicy kabob. But be careful the pepper is not for the faint of heart!
