New name, same great restaurant. Jade Asian moved from Flushing and was considered there to be an upscale place for dinner. Great lobster noodles, fried shrimp, fish and tofu (entree), all are incredible!

Jade Asian Bistro replaced Pine Court Bistro in this space on December 18. I found out that the owners previously owned the Jade Asian in Flushing which we loved, so obviously our expectations were high.

I came here twice, once for dinner and once for dim sum. I can say that the quality is just as good as I remember from their old Flushing restaurant. The dim sum is fresh, and I was happy to see the addition of more fried items on their menu which the previous tenants didn't offer. Dim sum starts at $2.95 for a small. As for dinner, you can get reasonable family sized entrees from $13 to $20. We specifically tried the Typhoon shelter shrimp and scallops, jer jer chicken, greens and beef pan fried noodles. They were excellent and reminiscent of their old location.

I see that they retained some of the previous staff which is nice to see. The dining room also received a new paint job and the tables and chairs have all been changed. Because of the good service, decent portions and fair price, I would highly recommend coming to this new spot. The owners are good at what they do!
