    They used to be excellent, but they must have changed chefs. Food quality has taken a dive and they have started putting things in dishes that are not listed on the menu. So something that is supposed to be pasta with olive oil arrives coated in cheese... We ordered it for the person who can't eat cheese. These mixups and mishaps are a regular occurrence now.

    I'm giving Giovanni 5 starts because everyone I eat here or order take out, they have never disappointed. The staff is always busy but they're always attentive. Prices are reasonable and the food is great. They have a wide variety of Mexican dishes as well as pizza and American food. I'd recommend their burritos and their pastor tacos. They make awesome soups as well.

    Great food, friendly staff( including some beautiful waitresses if I must say so) and a really good place to watch all the World Cup games. When you leave, be sure to look down 47th Ave for one of the best views of the Empire State Building
