I lovet the place is very nice, the people is great and the food is delicious..

This is a nice place to eat sushi, rolls, and other foods Tomo offers. I frequently visit this place for the $9.99 combo rolls. Food is great. The reason why I gave it a 4/5 stars is because I have noticed a different treatment/service when they have Asian customers compared to non-Asian customers. As soon as I observed this, I tested it out a numerous of times, and it was true. For example, and this has happened numerous time to me, Asian customers get a wet napkin and hot tea in the beginning, without the need of asking for it while non-Asians, don't, unless it is asked. Another observation is the fruits at the end, when the check is asked. Asians customers get it and non-Asian not always get it. I have received this fruits a few times but not all the times. I am guessing that at times they might be short on supply but if this items are given, then every customer should receive it regardless of their origin.

Tomo is the best bang for your buck sushi spot that you're going to find in New York. Unlike many inexpensive sushi spots that I've visited in New York, Tomo is the best. This place is always busy, so everything is always fresh. I highly recommend Tomo for those who crave good sushi without paying an arm & a leg. I's not Nobu or Blue Ribbon but it's very good.
