Gotta be one of my new favorite pizza joints and that crust is hard to beat. I loved the cheese as well. The sauce was decent but I do feel like it could use a little more basil flavor in it in although the fresh basil on top was delicious. I Will be back again!
I bought three different slices: regular, pepperoni and the bacon, onion and vodka sauce. All three were crunchy, but the last one was the best and most delicious of the lot. Note that Austin Street Pizza certainly doesn't taste like those 99 cent slices you'll find in other places and are priced accordingly so.
I cannot overstate how delicious this pizza is. I mean, it is properly tasty. Go for the square pies - as a previous reviewer said, they are crunchy in all the right places (the base too, which is awesome). The NY 2.0 is just on point, margarita too, and the cup n char. Actually just get them all, as they are all phenomenal. The tomato sauce is just right, and the crust is so crunchy and tasty - not dry at all.
Tip: why not order more than one pie when you go. We always order two and put one in the freezer for Austin St Emergencies ;-) 12min at 350 degrees and it’s basically as good as it came out of the shop!
Yum!
The crust on this pizza is amazing 😋. Only thing I wish is if they had lower seating area because I’d love to bring my toddler for a pizza date! The square pizzas was much better than the traditional ones. The crust on the round ones are too thin but I definitely think this pizzeria can do better on the round ones because the square ones are amazing!
Nice place at center of Austin Street. Good choice of toppings, nice friendly stuff. Pizza made for all fans of "thin crust", so keep it in mind if order for delivery. Because if it cool down a little will be almost impossible to eat. Tried "Margarita" and it is far from the "original". Difference from "plain" only because of basil presence. Good choice for quick bite.
